Critical illness only cover without life assurance

Hi

I have been pulling my hair out recently trying to find a critical illness policy without the life assurance...I now benefit from employee life assurance policies with my company to cover myself and my husband, so didn't need that element of cover anymore, but I have found it difficult to get critical illness cover on its own. My current provider of life assurance with combined critical illness won't do the critical illness on it's own, then I called a well known private medical provider and they quoted me £7 a month more for the critical illness on it's on compared to the combined cover....so can anyone provide any advice on this matter.

Thanks

Milhun!

There are many providers that do this on a standalone basis. Any IFA or whole of market adviser will be able to research and quote for you.

It is possible that the internet sites don't offer decent coverage on their website but may be able to quote if you contact them directly. Quite a few products dont get decent coverage on internet sites.

when i worked for a life insurance company it was likely tht stand alone cover cost more than combined, so it may be worth biting the bullet and taking the combined if your wanting it cheaper
