Toilet leaking, off on holiday tomorrow!!!

The water feed pipe to our toilet is leaking we have just found out. I am totally hopeless when it comes to anything DIY and we really dont have time to be ringing round trying to get a plummer as we are heading off on holiday tomorrow.

Can I turn the stopcock off and get it sorted in a fortnight when we get back off our hols? Will turning the water off at the stopcock have any effect on anything else in the house, ie: central heating ect?

Thanks,

Pete.

PS. Any plummers in Lincoln? ;)
I'll get me coat!
