Work focucsed interview deffering?

I was in a car accident a couple of months ago that aggravated a pre existing condition i have been on crutches for the past 2 months.
I can't even dress my self at the moment and i received a letter saying i have to attend a work focused interview, i rang up and explained that i was in a car crash and i have been on crutches since etc and was told its something you will have to discuss with your adviser.
After some goggling i came across the following
Provisions under reg 6(1) allow for an interview to be waived altogether if it is thought that an interview would either not assist the claimant or would be inappropriate.

It is clearly not an appropriate time for me to be attending while im recovering from my injuries.I have been told that if i don't attend my money will be stopped and i have already explained this over the phone and they say i still have to attend.
This is ridiculous, not just the fact that its going to be a complete nightmare just to get there but also what is the point when im clearly not in any state to be looking for work. i have also been told they can't make you look for work anyway so what is the point of these interviews exactly? im really confused now

after you attend the first interview they may well suspend future one for a period, just check with them that the office you have to attend has accessability for you0

I rang back up and spoke to a different person who agreed i could have the interview done over the phone due to sever mobility issues, However during the phone interview i was told i would have to attend a work program which confused me as they have already given me a phone interview due to sever mobility issues.
I was told i when the letter regarding the work program arrives i would have to ring and explain to them any problems with attending.
I was under the impression that job center decided weather you went on these programs or not and that if it is inappropriate for you to attend they should not send you.
I shall be asking if they can be put forward for a few months to give me time to recover. im in a considerable amount of pain now, i can't walk without crutches, i can only swing through ie can't bare any weight on my one leg what so every, its extremely painful to move at all. Sending my on a work program like this is ridiculous.
Does anybody know what the guidelines are for things like this? There is no way i will be attending in my current state risking aggravating my injuries further and potentially reducing recovery time.0 -
Without being able to look at my laptop that has all the rules on it for this sort of thing as the hospital does not allow it, I would say the company doing your WFi have up to £14,000 reasons to get you and as many others there and going towards a job.
I assume from your pre-existing problem you were put in the WRAG?
A couple of questions; are the crutches hospital ones, or from another source? How long did your fit note have on it and finally We're you claiming anything before and for what period.
You see they are all pertinent to their attitude. If they have a fit note saying fractured wrist etc six weeks refrain from work, they more than likely will ignore the accident as it would be outside the "norm" for healing. If your pre-existing problem left you in the WRAG, then the time clock is moving on your time in that group insofar as to the help that will be on offer.
As for going on any program's, that court case was lost last week. It's lawful to "request" you go on one. Unless of course I have the wrong end of the stick?0
