Advice sought re getting refund from seller for cost of returning defective goods

Hi. Roughly 3 weeks ago I ordered 4 items from a 3rd party seller via Amazon. The goods arrived in inadequate packaging, and 1 of the items was defective, so I returned all 4 items to the seller for a refund. The seller has refunded the cost of the order but not the cost of returning the items.
My understanding of the Sale of Goods Act is that if goods are faulty, then under Sale of Goods the supplier must bear the cost of returning them. The seller has ignored my requests for a refund for the cost of returning the goods, and Amazon have said they can't help (because the seller is a 3rd party).
Can anyone advise as to how to go about getting this money refunded? Thanks.

The other 3 items were not defective so you can't expect the seller to pay for their return. You may have to bite the bullet on this one or negotiate a quarter of the return costs.0

Totally depends if they were part of a set.
Would look a bit of a wally driving around with 3 hubcaps for example.0
