Does anyone know of any decent car boot sales in the Birmingham area?
I have looked online but many of the listings seem out of date with year round listings which I find strange for outdoor events.
Thanks in advance :-)

Birmingham is HUGE....
Which side? How far do you want to travel? Car/Bus/Train?
With the weather quite a few have been cancelled for a few weeks.
Should all be back up with this weather though.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I am aware Birmingham is huge but early on weekend mornings you can pretty much get awanywhere in 20 mins driving. I live on the east side of the city towards the airport so its 2 mins to the motorway junctions.
It was the sudden improvement in weather than made me think a good bargin hunt is in order.Total Debt Feb 2012 [STRIKE]£12,153[/STRIKE] 10674 16.5% Paid

If you don't mind coming out of Brum there's a massive one in Studley (technically Warwickshire but actually on the outskirts of Redditch so straight down the motorway).

They have a checkline so you can phone on the Saturday to see if it's on or not.
Or there's one on the Portway - not been to that so I don't know what it's like again, just off the motorway.

Hi you must live near me then! I can see Birmingham Airport from the bedroom window.
There is a carboot sale every Sunday at Solihull Moors Football Club (back of Land Rover/old airport side by Damson Parkway). Sellers can set up from 10.30am and buyers are kept outside until 11.30 behind barriers - when the barriers are removed its a stampede as the buyers do not know where to run for the best bargains.
If you do decide to go to this one get there around 11am to buy as its a nightmare getting in and parked also dont bother going much later than 3pm as most sellers will have packed up and gone home.0 -
Furnace end is on your doorstep then. Bassets pole, Hams Hall, Kingsbury also.
And plenty more.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

I pass by here on the way to work, never seen a sign up but probably because I am normally reading the metro.
