Double glazing

I have a few rented properties and I want one of them double glazed. I am just wondering what experiences people have had and any recommendations on the cheapest. It is not my home, so I am not that bothered, I just want the cheapest.
I had double glazing on another property about 10 years ago and I can remember the more expensive ones wanted to meet with me to "talk me through the quotes" and it was all "if you sign now we will give you them half price" which got on my nerves a bit because it took so much time.
I need two bay windows and three biggish windows, a kitchen window and a bathroom window. What sort of price should I be expecting. I know this is a bit vague but can anyone tell me how much they paid.
I am in the process of getting some quotes and will know soon and am just wondering if I will be able to bargain.

I've just double glazed a new house with 2 composite doors & 14 windows (various sizes) for under £5000. A local chap who used to work for a company has gone solo & he came to measure up, ordered & fitted for only £300 cash in his pocket. He gets all his windows from Heritage Trade Frames & they're excellent.
If you can find someone who will do the job for you for cash You'll save £££.0 -
Avoid any of the national firms. Try and get a recommendation for a local one. Ours comes round, measures up and then puts a quote in the post ... no hard sell.0

Its been said before, but go local rather than the large companies...
have just done our rental property which was 3 windows in bay,and 5 further fairly large windows, back door which needed a window knocking out and quality composite front door, gutterings and facias to front and back of property for £6000...not the cheapest quality, but certainly the cheapest price and very well fitted.
Gave up on the large companies when they sent the salesman who was more interested in the hard sell....the local companies seem to quote you a price without all this "useless and unnecessary sales talk"....I really didnt need the 2 hour presentation, I just wanted a good quote for some durable windows and doors!!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -

I have used this company. For me they were great as you don't get that "if you sign now we will give you them half price" comment! There is nothing worse! To be honest I'm surprised they still use the same techniques. Everyone knows what they are doing, it makes me cringe!0
