New Phishing attempts

Just a warning a new batch of phishing emails is doing the rounds. These have got past BT's spam fiter.
The email warns that your Halifax acount has been compromised and asks you to log on - the link in the email takes you to:
hbcownersclub.com/images/clubs/concession/halifax.co.uk/halifax.co.uk/login.php not halifax.co.uk
Obviously don't try to log on here!
Fortunately Thunderbird gives a fake warning about this.

I got one claiming to be from Paypal this morning.
It was much better than the usual efforts, only the "Dear valued Paypal customer" initially giving the game away. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
I've had scam emails from Lloyds, Halifax and Barclays this morning. I have accounts with none of these."So long and thanks for all the fish" :hello:0
