Sun: Beans on Toast (probs more of a brunch or swap with dinner and have this for tea)
Mon: Caramelised Onion Hummus Sandwiches. Carrot sticks.
Tue: Walnut and Olive Pate Sandwiches. Carrot sticks.
Wed: Butternut Dip with Flatbread. Raisins.
Thu: Rice Salad
Fri: As wed
Dinners
Sat: Pizza + veg wedges i.e. carrot and swede with Tomato Chutney
Sun: Savoury Cobbler with mash (very likely a veggie mash, what with the scone topping)
Mon: [STRIKE]Mediterranean Tomato Stew with Rice[/STRIKE] Gnocchi in tomato sauce with cabbage
Tue: [STRIKE]Chilli with Southern-Style Topping, and wedges[/STRIKE] Indian-Spiced Cottage Pie with cabbage
Wed: Potato Moussaka

Mid am/pm Snacks can be carrot sticks, savoury muffins, savoury pepper biccies with any of the lunch dips/pate or cut-up fruit.
Suppers will be cup of soya milk for the girls and if we want anything there is popcorn in
Should only need to buy the soya milk and a few apples/bananas this week (must remember to post on GC.) Have been using Asda ready oats for calcium boost to reduce amount of soya milk consumed... the consumption was getting a little out of hand...Love and compassion to all x0 -
So let me tell you the saddest meal planning story ever. Last week I had a huge dinner party on Friday which left loads of scrummy leftovers, and made a big batch of tomato sauce for various dishes.
Then on Sunday my house was broken into and my refrigerator was stolen with everything inside:mad:. Including some lovely cheeses my mum had brought from overseas and several other things I cant replace easily. They also stole LOADS of other things (all my OH's clothes, computer, camera, hard drive, etc) but somehow this on especially grates! Hopefully it will all be covered by insurance, but that wont buy my leftovers backHope to get a new fridge over the weekend but in the meantime feeling a bit crippled.
Doing my best to not use it as an excuse to eat out all the time! This week I'm starting with things that are easy to make just for us, then bulk cook to fill up new freezer.
Tonight: Pasta pesto with veg
Friday: veg stir fry with cheats satay
Saturday: Mates are having a party and roasting a pig (!!!) so will be eating that
Sunday: Hopefully will have the new fridge so will make meatballs and tomato sauce
Monday: Spiced Carrot and Lentil soup (make enough for freezer)
Tuesday: l/o Meatball Sarnies
Wednesday: vegetarian chili (making enough for freezer)Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000Debt free as of 1 October, 2010

Yes thank you, thank goodness no one was home and no one was hurt. Chances of catching them are very thin but hopefully insurance will stump for everything.Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000

Yummy!
That's a strange thing to take, NTBY, I can't imagine the state the interior will be in with all the food being sloshed about as it is moved :OLove and compassion to all x0 -

NTBY -. I'd be very cross about the fridge, too, particularly the cheeses.
My plan went a bit awry last week - it was one of those situations where I changed one meal, and that ended up affecting everything else. I've been a bit lacking in inspiration for the last few weeks, so I've gone for an all-veggie meal plan this week in the hope that a (very minor) challenge will encourage me a bit.
Friday - cheesy mushroom in a bun with chips and salad
Saturday - baked aubergines
Sunday - beanburger puffs and salad
Monday - aubergine and kidney bean Thai curry with coconut rice
Tuesday - veggie crispbakes with roast tomatoes
Wednesday - veg chilli with roast squash and garlic bread
Thursday - cheese and tomato pasta bakeBack after a very long break!0 -
NTBY, that's awful, poor you! Can't believe someone stole a fridge with all the food inside though, bizarre. How hard would that have been to move! I'd be furious too.
OH is back for his tea on Monday so next week will go like this for us. Breakfast as usual and lunches will be sandwiches or hummous with pitta and carrot dunkers.
Mon - chilli & rice
Tue - sausage, mash, veg & gravy
Wed - cheesy broccoli & pea pasta bake
Thur - chicken in Cantonese sauce (YS jar) and noodles
Fri - spaghetti & meatballs0
