Car Insurance - Job Description?

Hi,

I'm starting a new apprenticeship for IT work soon. I'm getting a car to go along with this - the quote for my insurance is £2,900 when I enter Apprentice as the job. If I enter 'Technical Assistant' - which could be also considered what I am doing - the quote drops by £300.

Would it be acceptable to enter 'Technical Assistant' as my job - or would I run into issues if I was to claim?

Thanks in advance :)

    Hi,

Go with tech assistant if it saves you money and the job description is technically correct.

As long as you aren't blatantly lying to get cheaper insurance, you will be ok.

What title has the company given you.

Go with that, you have to be honest.
