Taking Cans of Beer in Luggage

Hi
I wanna take cans of beers on a long haul flight and want to put it in my main luggage to check in.
My question is, will it burst due to high altitude or is there a easier way to take them?

They should be OK, I often bring a couple of cans of local beer home from my hols as a reminder. Bottles survive too.
Just watch the weight excess baggage is pricey.

The cargo holds are pressurised just like the cabin. Undamaged cans will be fine.

Be careful when you open them as they may get a bit shaken up

I had my bags pulled out for search at Atlanta airport after packing a can of Dale Earnhardt Jr branded Budweiser! There was a total lack of sense of humour on the face of the woman searching the bag lol...

i'd stick them in a poly bag just incase the did burst then they wont go everywhere

Taking a few different cans with me for a friend who loves British Beer. Hes in Taiwan.
