Switching from EDF Blue+ Sept 2013 to Blue+ April 2014
I'm currently on EDF Blue+ fixed to Sept 2013. As far as I can see from a quick look, the new version (EDF Blue+ fixed to April 2014) has very similar rates (about 0.5p/kWh cheaper for electricity and 0.1p/kWh more expensive for gas, for my region) but has the considerable benefit of the longer fix.
Since there is no penalty for exiting Blue+, does anyone know if I can easily get EDF to switch me from the 'old' to the 'new' version of this tariff?
thanks!

You should just be able to switch via your online account. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

I'm an EDF Blue Sept 2013 customer as well, I went through the MSE tip a while back where I could get the £50 cashback for switching. I'm wondering will the cashback become invalid if I switch to the new April 2014 tariff?0
