hi, I am just wondering, is it possible to add money to my Paypal balance using credit card (issued by bank 1) and later to transfer that amount to my bank account (at bank 2) ? and will I get charged at any point for this by paypal ?

Thanks

  • Yes to both - from the PayPal website:

It's free* when you use your PayPal balance or your bank account linked to your PayPal account. There is a charge of 3.4% + £0.20 GBP*
for debit or credit card payments
(either the sender or recipient can pay this fee).

This would be slightly higher than a usual Balance Transfer fee but would enable you to get the cash.
