Try ringing customer services to see if the application went through?

  • I just got the same message, not sure if its one of the following:

    - I'm a former customer and have switched away from them, waited a year and now going (or trying to) go back

    - I'm at work and I didnt accept the cookie policy

did you ring customer services and get any information?
  • Well, I rang customer services and they said there was a problem and my aplication 'didn't complete'. I found another thread in this forum where the same thing happened to someone, but instead of ringing they just applied again the next day and unfortunately got rejected.

The guy dealing with my call asked a couple of security questions (reflecting the info I submitted online), found my application and then submitted my application. After a couple of minutes on hold it passed without issue, also I had transferred a large (but affordable) balance during the online application process too.

So moral of the story, give them a ring! I would guess that it may be relating to the new cookie policy, as if you don't accept the use of cookies, the online application isnt able to store the application data (this is just a guess though!!).

Hope this is of some use.
