How to get glue off uPVC Door

The holder that I have for the Stanley blade does hold it sideways (or flat to the surface) :j
The only thing I am nervous about it when it "hits" the glue, the blade digs down and might mark the uPVC.
As long as you hold it at a very acute angle, and do it gently, then you shouldn't have any probs.0
