Temp increase in hours - informing t credit??

Hi I currently work 28 hours and my husband full time we have 3 children, now my employers have asked me to do 35 hours a week temporary until April/May but on a week to week basis. So the question is do I need to inform the tax credit or not ? Don't want to be left with a big overpayment. Any help appreciated.

So basically they want you to do full time hours until next year on a week by week basis. If you know your hourly rate, work out what it would be for 35 hours a week gross and put it into the entitled to link on this site and see what a difference the temp increase in income makes. That would be the worst case scenario. If it tells you that you would not be entitled to anything, then I would tell them now rather than later, it can all be finalised at next years renewal and if your gross was less than worst case, you'd perhaps get a lump sum paid at year end. Or you go the not telling them about it route and have to settle an overpayment with them. 2nd is not the better option. Also people on here need to be aware that the income disregard is going down to £5k next year, so folks beware.0
