When I used to work in London's west end I used to go to Marlborough Magistrates Court and sit in the public gallery. Great entertainment, some real characters, the prossies provided eye candy and I also leaned how to get into a car without my keys.0

- check MSE
- read through Motley Fool e-mails
- check my e-mail account for surveys
- write in my daily spending log
- write letters/cards to post off
- send ebay items
- Call suppliers - phone, electric, gas, mobile, bank etc with any questions
- catch up on news online
- Walk round the park
- Got to the shops but try to not be tempted

I'd love to check my emails and browse the web and especially this site, but my employer doesn't allow internet use for ANY private reason - only for work purposes. :mad:0

Highly recommended whatever area you live in - if you want some free entertainment and to see how the other half live, check out your local Magistrates Court.
I usually work most of my lunch-hour then I can slope off early. DH is very lucky as his office is on the sea-front so he can stroll on the beach in his lunch-hour if he wants (especially nice in the summer).

By biggest lunchtime money saving tip is NOT to take my wallet/purse out with me when I go for a walk.
I always take lunch from home, but when out with a wallet it was easy to think 'I just need a drink/snack/pop into the chemist/etc etc and spend a bit here and there.
Now I've stopped doing that I don't miss all those things I thought I 'needed' and am saving quite a lot over the course of a month.0 -
My tip, if you have a restroom or take your car to work, is to go and have a nap. It's impossible to spend money and you'll be refreshed and more productive in the afternoon.0
