  • Don't know if this has been mentioned, but I just bought a Links of London official Team GB bracelet (the red and blue one) at Debenhams for 2.50 today.

Home Bargains have a lot of remaindered Olympic merchandise. Team GB and a variety of other mugs at 29p each (reduced from £4.50) and really nice child sets of plate/bowl/cup reduced from £17 to 99p.

I know quite a few kids who really got into the Olympics, thanks for the tip I might go and get some of these tomorrow.

Went to Home Bargains this morning and got some box sets of Olympic mugs, 2 in the box for 99p. My husband travels to America for work and needs to take something over for his American colleagues so these are ideal. Also got a mandeville mug and a wenlock one for my two nephews for 39p each. Didnt see any plate/bowl/cup sets or money boxes so if these are still around can someone let me know as there is another HB that I can travel to.

My friend told me this morning that she got an Olympic scarf from Next, was £10 but now £1. Not sure when she bought it so could be long gone.

These are the scarves, zoom in to see the detail, lots of good reviews, smaller ones for 50p, no idea of stock levels

  • Corgi models are having a sale of their Olympic 2012 vehicles e.g. 6 Olympic buses or tube trains for £17.99 a pack!

The tube trains are selling for £10 each on Amazon at the moment so a great saving - good for stocking fillers and souvenirs!

Go to the office Corgi site and look under the Olympic sale 'Great British Classics section' for the deals.

Am new so cannot post links.

I have seen Olympic cars in the £1 shop and Homebargains (59p!). They aren't the same ones as per the above link though.
