accident claim

Hi guys, i would really appreciate some advice, I was involved in a car accident yesterday morning where a van entered onto a roundabout and collided into me when I was already established on the roundabout. Bery shortly afterwards (within the hour) began to have a headache and pain down my neck, this morning it has worsened and is also painful in by back and shoulder, i was seen in A &E yesterday who said i have shoulder injury and whiplash, as it worsened i went to my GP this afternoon who confirms that the large muscle in my back, the trapezius, has been injured. Everybody who i have spoken to has told me to make a claim. im not sure what to do , firstly as i am in an IVA, I wondered that if i do make a claim and was successful, would the IVA be entitled to take the compensation ?

at worst, you'll end up paying off a substantial amount of debt with it!
