Cheapest & easiest way to borrow £2000 in cash?

Hi folks

I am a complete klutz when it comes to borrowing money, so I've come on here to simply ask what is the best and easiest way to borrow £2000 in cash? I say cash because I'm buying a car off a private owner. But if there is a way I could get it wired into my bank account, that would work too. Any ideads anyone??

Jonathan

    Do you have any savings?
If not then unless you have a rich unle or aunt willing to lend it you for free I can forsee problems.
Do you have any credit cards? Companies like Egg will let you transfer a balance off one of their cards to a current account for you to cash. Not sure of timescales here, when do you need the mone by?

jonny if you have a half decent credit rating then apply for a 0% credit card that will transfer the money into your bank, such as virgin, egg, a&L.com and you might be able to find other's on this site.
DO NOT PAY INTEREST IF YOU CAN AVOID IT
all the credit card companies offer these deals to get people to open an account and spend with them DO NOT DO IT use your 0% card for purchase's onlt on BT'S or Super BT'S, once you have the money in the bank then open another 0% credit card(at the end of the first 0% deal) and transfer it to them and carry on with 0%.
NOBODY SHOULD EVER PAY INTEREST ON A LOAN UNTIL THE C.CARD COMPANIES STOP OFFERING 0% FOR A LOAN.
    all the best

Yeh, if your working then do the 0% shuffle, should be relatively easy to get a couple of grand out of the card companies for a number of years (if you keep moving the debt). Unless your credit rating is bad or your not working.
