Taken from the email this week, link to it here:

http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/supermarket-coupons#fairy

We've blagged 2,500 coupons for £3.60 of free 800g Fairy non-bio washing powder (that should make it free apart from in expensive shops, where you'll need to pay the difference).

Who can get it? Anyone with an iPhone or Android phone as to do this you'll need to download and register on the Shop Scan Save app. If you've already got that, then sorry, you can't take part in this deal.

How to get it: Our weekly email takes 18 hours to send. So, to be fair...

I'm a bit confused by this. Downloaded the app, but not sure I've got the coupon - how do you know if you've got it? Is it just a first come first served in the shops?

Sorry, haven't got an iphone or android so I can't check, so I don't know, perhaps they have already gone as the email goes out to a lot of people?

Just talked to their customer services and as long as you were a new member and joined after 3pm you should have the voucher in your my offers.

    Any problems contact them

Looking at my offers I can see the Fairy one - so does that mean I've got the coupon?

The expiry date says the 15th so presumably I don't need to go rushing across town today to pick it up, I can do it before the date runs out? Bit dumb y'see. :o

Yes you are right, if its on your list in 'my offers' then you have qualified for the free powder.

You simply pick up the powder take it to the till and open up the app on your phone and show your barcode I.D. The shop should then scan both barcodes and voila - free powder!

I am going to Coop for mine as they have more stock and its a bigger store to take freebie coupons. I have also printed out the page on the site about the free powder in case I have any trouble.

And Yes, offer is on till next Weds, so plenty of time yet!

I got the offer and went to my local co-op, I went to the till with the powder and asked the women to scan my app, her reply was "what do you mean" I replied that I had an offer on the app which meant the powder was free. 10 minutes I was in that bloomin' shop, as my phone was passed around different staff members who were all confused even though I had shown them the how to guide on the phone:D Got my free powder in the end though:rotfl:

Glad you managed to get yours. I spent 10mins in coop with lots of confusing and ended up coming out empty handed as they couldn't figure it out. :-( Tried 3 other shops and had the same response so no free washing powder for me.

    Thanks! :D

I'll probably go into a shop (need to find a big enough co-op) and just say 'scan this' to the cashier to save a long winded explanation!
