You are unlikely to find the sort of veterinary brand that will be effective. There are many threads on here recommending specific brands for each product, these can usually be bought cheapest online.

Some chemists and the likes of Pets at Home sell Frontline spot on or Effipro for fleas and Drontal for worms. They are cheaper online though. Be warned that Frontline and Effipro, while a lot better than supermarket type sprays are reported to be getting less and less effective...

The best flea sprays/spot ons all tend to be prescription only products so you will need to see a vet. You can either buy direct from the vets or get a written prescription and buy online.
