External Wooden Doors

Can anyone recommend a good quality external wooden door? It looks like oak might be best, but everything seems to be oak veneer at widely varying proces.

I don't mind paying for quality, if anyone has any advice. Have one made exactly to your specifications by a local joinery company. Won't be that expensive, at least worth getting some quotes.

Can't seem to find any. Most only fit pre-made and just expect you to buy off the shelf.

These guys did ours they might fit in a run to Edinburgh. We were supposed to get Blair Joinery windows/doors but they went bust and I honestly think these are better.

There is also quite a big company in Newcastle but I can't remember the name.
