long term travel insurance

my partner and i are taking a year out to go and stay in turkey we are both in our early 50's ad need advise on insurance that would cover us for about a year. Anyone got any ideas

Yes, long term single trip insurance is what you need, I turned 50 while I was away for 4 months in SE Asia and got it without any difficulty from Endsleigh (although some policies are specifically designed for gap year travel and do have an upper age limit, so you won't be able to get one of those).0
