NPower ignoring complaint

  • I have been waiting since November for a reponse from npower. They admit that they have got problems dealing with customer enquiries, and after several false promises from them they are no nearer to a response so I am going to the Ombudsman too.

Use e-mails with npower so you have a track of what has happened. Perhaps npower should stop taking on new business until service performance is acceptable to customers.

I posted originally about total confusion over my gas account with npower. They mix up my meter number with someone else's, try to increase my direct debit threefold, write numerous confusing letters coming from different people and even use my phone number as the meter number! I am still paying monthly a vastly inflated sum in order to keep warm and have spent many hours on writing letters and e mails to them. I cannot now access my account online which had extraordinary discrepancies such as thousands of ££s being added (though I live in small flat) and cannot contact anyone successfully about this. Despair!

I took Npower to court, dispute over a year old. They issued a claim after mine, with 16 PoC of which there were 33 false / misleading assertions sworn for truth.

One was that they 'no longer supply us with electricity' BUT they did, so I said
YOU CAN SUPPLY us with electricity FREE from now on.
Sep 2012 their Final bill was £790, I had offered them £1000 to continue for ever. They did not of course accept.

They had FALSIFIED the account to include MY name where I was not ac contract party, so there were THREE false sworn truths.

AND Kenneth Radley Davies signed as a 'para-legal' AND his signature was in the box where it states 'Solicitor'. I asked him when did you enroll, and he mumbled quietly he was not.

I told this all to the judge at hearing, and reduced my offer to £800.
The judge ordered NO costs for them, and NO bill beyond the final one, so I got a year's electricity free. ... suppLIERS.

BUT the system has lost integrity. I will post more and a link to an exposure site.
