Going to cresswell towers in a coiuple of weeks, still hoping for a heat wave so we can take advantage of the beautiflu beaches, but if that doesnt happen can anyone recommend places to go, suitable for a fmaily with teenage children.
Will take a seal trip to Farne and also go to Holy island, and have seen wet and wild in newcastle, but what else can you recommend please.
Thanks

    Bamburgh Castle.

Got a great WW2 museum within.
That's my mutt in the picture above.
  • If you do make the trip into Newcastle there is plenty to do - Centre for Life, Baltic (free), Discovery Museum (free). There's also great shops. If weather is okay there's an interesting open-top bus tour or walk along the quayside is lovely.
