Going to cresswell towers in a coiuple of weeks, still hoping for a heat wave so we can take advantage of the beautiflu beaches, but if that doesnt happen can anyone recommend places to go, suitable for a fmaily with teenage children.
Will take a seal trip to Farne and also go to Holy island, and have seen wet and wild in newcastle, but what else can you recommend please.
Thanks

If you do make the trip into Newcastle there is plenty to do - Centre for Life, Baltic (free), Discovery Museum (free). There's also great shops. If weather is okay there's an interesting open-top bus tour or walk along the quayside is lovely.0
