I received an email from ebay this morning (through my ebay messages) - can anyone tell me what it means?
Thank you for being a valued seller on eBay. As you know, Feedback is an essential part of what makes eBay a successful marketplace. We know that Feedback left by buyers for you is important to your reputation. This is why we will remove Feedback left for you when we know a buyer did not adhere to eBay policies. We wanted you to know that in the last 3 months, we took the following action to benefit your seller performance record:
Removed 1 buyer protection cases
Note that these removals were the result of patterns identified by eBay's detection systems and/or cumulative reports from you and other sellers. They may be related to transactions that occurred any time over the past several months.

It is was it says it is, it means that a potential issue on your dashboard has been removed. I got one of those as well last week, telling me that two lots of low stars had been identified in item description and despatch as against my usual patterns and as per the buyer behaviour had been removed- however when I checked there were two new low stars on there

I did phone and got some nonsense about how lucky I was that the other two had been removed as otherwise my TRS was at risk, I also got an automated email follow up telling me that buyers don't like paying extra for postage so I should consider going freepost. That annoyed me a bit as my low stars are for item description I have no low stars at all for p and p and occasionally creep up to 5* in that category on my account.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I had one of those messages late last night too. Can't see it reflected in my extended dashboard though, although maybe it will catch up at some point. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

I got one of those messages too. It was for something that I knew about already as it was removed (low stars) by me calling them. I think they are trying to say 'We do care about sellers' and lull us all into a false sense of security.0

Very true, I am still exceedingly irritated though to have received a cut and paste email telling me that buyers like cheap, postage - when my question didn't even ask that.
I got an eBay survey afterwards asking me whether my question was resolved, so I said no to every single question and under extra comments I pointed out that the answer had absolutely nothing to do with the question.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
