Tavelling to Cromer, Norfolk

Hi my family and I are traveling to Cromer ( Norfolk ) on Saturday for a weeks holiday. We are going by car, we did this last year but we seemed to hit really heavy traffic when we got to kings lynn ( I think it was Kings Lynn but It was a really horrendous roundabout where we seemed to be waiting for days to get out!)
Are there any people on here from Cromer/ norfolk who can advise what time we need to be aiming for?
We are coming From yorkshire by the way with 2 impatient girls aged 7 &9
Thanks in advance

The roundabout you're talking about is the hardwick in Kings Lynn
I use it most days and this year its relatively quiet . If the weather is good you get all the traffic going up to the coast so journey time is entirely weather dependant !0 -
Yes I agree, dont worry about the roundabout, as long as you are not travelleing bank holiday its fine.Always on the hunt for a bargain0

I agree, I've passed there often but only had problems if someone's crashed in the area, maybe that's what caused your delays last time.0

Thanks for your replies, the roundabout was busy but perhaps I am only used to quiet ones lol, I would like good weather please but have not found a forum to request that on !!:)0

the roundabout does get rather busy at peak times but as others say it is weather dependant! i only travel that way late at night or early in morning now so very quiet when i have to. as you may know its cromer carnival so will be lots of people going to cromer and may be difficult to park (depending on where your staying) have a good week.“You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.” ― Dr Seuss

There are currently works on the road from the hardwick roundabout to cromer, 30mile limit, which is causing long tailbacks - obviously worse during working hours, don't know what it is like at weekends0
