I'm having the same problem! Bear in mind Warranty though - I've found the FZ7 for £163 inc pnp and a 2yr warranty (Camerabox), whereas the Fuji is only 6 months as it's a refurb.

I'm also tempted by the Fuji s5600 which can be had for £116 new, delivered. Not as capable as the s9600 for sure, but still a good camera. The main issue I have with these Fuji's though is the size. The FZ7 is considerably smaller.

I could not find the other thread about the s9500 but fuji have added the s9600 to the refurb site! It is £220.14, but with the 10% off code on the discount board it comes out at £203 inc first class post. Argos want £399 for this camera!

They have also added some other good cameras to the site, including the cute little s3500 which I have had for couple of years and really like! (£79.99)

I have used the Fuji refurbishedsite to get my S7000 a whileback. really pleased with the camera, the results and the overall service. Mine has a selection dial too and i have had no problems with it.
