GGRRRR - how rude these people are...
my mother saw a mobile advertised at £59.99, and 3 days later decided to go buy it
she asked for the phone, the rep sorted it all and said that will be £99.99
my mother took him over to the display and he said it was a mistake and took the whole display down...
we argued that he should sell the phone for the price displayed etc, to which he became very aggressive and rude!
he refused to allow us to speak to a manager, saying he was "out" and he didnt know when he would be back....
we again said that he should sell the phone for the advertised price to which he replied... wait for it...
"IN THAT CASE IT IS OUT OF STOCK"
how dare they.....

There's no doubt they've been crap, but...............
They are under no legal obligation to sell it at the lower price. They can simply remove the item from sale if they wish.
We as consumers don't have a legal right to take advantage of a retailer's mistake in pricing something up........
You could argue there's a moral obligation, but then don't we have a moral obligation not to take advantage......??...........0 -
