in Credit cards
Hi, I hope you can help me. I have just started a business and would like a personal credit card although I cannot prove my income - does anyone know of a company that offers a card without income being a criteria? Thanks very much. :j

Never in a million years.
You could get a prepaid card.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
That's interesting McKneff. I wonder how I can get around it as I have a husband with an income and share a joint card with him but want to improve my credit score so need one of my own. Will keep researching x0

I think you'll be researching a long time.
No one is going to extend credit to you without any means of paying it back.
Even people on benefits with proof of income are refused.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
well you may get one where they ask for 'family' income... SAHMs can get CC on that basis.0

Yes, family income might be the answer - my husband's income is high and we both have good credit scores which must account for something - I hope!0

responsible borrowing...Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Well perhaps he might be able to get a card? I mean, I earn £0, unless you class student finance as an "income" yet I have two cards. One sub prime, and one that requires an income of 15K apparently0

To build my credit rating, I recently signed up with Aqua for one of their cards, the apr is 44.9%... but hey, I'm not going to be using it as a current account.
I signed through all of the paperwork and said that I earn £20,000pa.. they never questioned it and sent me the forms through the post. Not Too bad considering that I have NEVER had a job and have been unemployed since I graduated 2 months ago...0 -
Credit + No Income = Acid BathI owe £3233 @ 0%0

Thanks guys. It gives me hope! I can't see the problem if I pay through a joint account with my husband - even if I haven't directly earnt the money.0
