If you would of paid back what you owed in the first place pal then you would of found it pretty easy to get a loan.

    OP, whats your income ?

    any ccj's ?

What is exactly on your credit file ? Is it late payments ?

I had a couple of late payments on my phone bill ages ago but thats it and it said my credit was fair so i thought i would have a chance of getting a loan/credit card. I thought I had a really bad credit file because I have always been turned down for things in the past but experian said 'i had no recent searches' as i hadnt tried for credit for about a year.

Some people just do not get it....Here is one...

    you will be ripped off...soon
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
