Any benefits to help buy a new cooker?

Hi all
I was just wondering if there were any benefits that my mum could claim for as her cooker was condemed as it was leaking gas.
She does not have any savings and I cannot help out at the moment:(
I have already brought her a new shower and had it fitted for her - her old shower failed along with the fridge freezer so its been very stressful for her now that her much loved cooker has gone too. My mum is in her eighties and when she approached the benefits they sort of said she could have a loan of a some sorts but since most of her pension already goes on bills and food there is nothing left to repay any loan plus I already top up her money to cover a couple of her bills.
She does live in her own home and alone and she does not receive any outside support other than from myself.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Thank you for your comments so far

In reply to annie1975: Don't really want to go down the crisis loan route as it is a loan and I am already paying a couple of her bills.
In reply to dunroamin and midnight express: She is on pension credit and gets council tax benefit too.0 -
Can't vouch for integrity of site as just saw it in passing but there was a Belling Gas cooker hob/2 ovens offered for free on Preloved website from Barnstable Cornwall area yesterday.
Many others offered from £60 or so.0 -
A halogen oven: £30 from poundstretchers will cook everything from toast to a roast.
Slowcookers can be purchased for less than £20.
