ebay seller probs!

Hi All
This is my first post so please be gentle!
I recently bought some boxsets of a certain tv programme(series 1-5)and was able to buy them in bulk so have about 25 of these boxsets to sell.Did some investigating beforehand and figured could make about 20-30 quid on each boxset I sell. Decided to just stick them on for a one day auction and see how they go as found sticking them on for longer didnt realy increase the price that much and want to get rid of them all as quickly as possible as could do with the money!
All was going well and had sold about 15 of these boxsets without a problem. Went to list one yesterday and it has come up saying that I cant list the item on a 1 day auction, it has to be 3,5,7 or 10 day. This came as a suprise as been doing it previously without a problem! So I thought ok I'll stick it on for 3 days which was ok.I also dont mind sending it overseas but then got another message saying that I can no longer send overseas untill my paypal account is verified.Well it is verified so it says I have to link it to may ebay account.I followed the instructions as it says to link it to ebay account but it still keeps coming up with the same problem!
Has anybody had this happen to them before?Has anybody else had there ability to list a DVD for a 1 day auction removed?
Sorry for the long post!

I didn't think 1 day listings were quite so restrictive. Obviously the reason ebay limit them is because scammers just love to use them.
The ebay community forums might be worth a try in case there are any current bugs. It does seem a bit off that they let you list at first then stopped you (if you were a scammer you'd be laughing!)My TV is broken!

I think eBay have a limit to the number of 1 day auctions a person can have.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

i've got a feeling..its not the 1 day listing is the problem.. I think its the trying to verfiy your paypal with ebay but its not doing that correctly i think.. :dance:smile everyday...cos its free

I think one day listings have recently been banned for certain items, and DVDs might be among them, since there are a lot of pirate copies around.0

Thanks for the thoughts!
I have emailed ebay themselves but juding on past performances Im sure I'll get an email back in a few days that is completly irrelevant to what I asked!!
Can understand I suppose if they have changed certain items from being listed for just a day, out of curiosity though went to list a cd of mine and had no problem listing that for a one day style auction, surely there is as many if not more dodgy copied CD's on ebay as DVD's!
Just find it funny that they have now said that I cant sell abroad even though I have previously, surely if they didnt think I was verified they would have stopped me first time round!0 -
Bet you a tenner you get a more sensible answer here than you will from ebay

you cant do 1 day listings on certain categories anymore...not sure which ones though..5. Why are 1 and 3 day listing durations no longer available for certain types of items with counterfeiting activity?
Counterfeiters have sometimes used 1 and 3 day listing durations to lure buyers to their items. Because of the short duration time of these listings, there is little time for eBay Members and rights owners to detect these listings and have eBay take them down
6. Will one- and three-day listings no longer be available on eBay?
One- and three-day listings will continue to be available for most categories and types of items on eBay. For certain types of items that are often subject to counterfeiting, sellers will no longer be able to list using one-day or three-day listings.
