I have come across this website for supply only windows
http://www.pvc-warehouse.co.uk
Has anyone used them?
Does anyone know if they are built to building regs?
Alternately http://www.justdoorsuk.com
They def comply with building regs Part L
Or does anyone know of any other decently priced upvc windows?
Thanks

:rotfl:What a coincidence, I used them myself and now my home is 1000x more efficient, the windows were delivered and then fitted themselves possibly by pixies or elves overnight.
Wunderfu1 wind0w5 and I highly recommend them and the fabulous company.
It can be done, because you can get the local building controls to inspect them and issue a certificate. My local BC will inspect as many windows in one house and issue certificates for £75.southcoastrgi wrote: »OP are you going to fit your own windows now ?
No I haven't used them but I have been looking for a couple of windows to fit myself. Yes really, I am.0 -
I marked the first one as spam when it first appeared but its still there. Ho Hum. Now both posts have that nice icon of a little tin next to them on my screen.

But OP doesn't want to pay out for BC to inspect these CLICKY as its cheaper to take out indemnity insurance. which reminds me - no answer to the last post in that thread. Perhaps she doesn't want to. Never mind - time to bump it anyway.A.Penny.Saved wrote: »It can be done, because you can get the local building controls to inspect them and issue a certificate.
