Credit card for a student (first credit card)

Hi,

I'm looking to get a credit card for when I buy goods that are over £100 so I have additional protection. I have never had a credit card before and I am a student. Could anyone recommend me one? I have been looking at this one: https://www.halifax.co.uk/creditcards/other-cards/student-card/

    I have a student account with the co op as it has the biggest 0% guaranteed overdraft but they don't have student credit cards anymore :/ I have a HSBC current account but I would need to open a student account with them to get a student credit card which I can't do as I already have one with the co op.

    I had two student accounts open at once. Lloyds, unbeknown to me, changed my current account into a student account when I went to university, despite having opened a Natwest student account separately.
