Windows help please

We have a ciouple of single glazed windows still in our house, and we have some french doors Iwould like to turn back into a window (why it was made into french doors i'll never undderstand 
)
anyway, where do I start?
I live in brum, do any of you know companies that I should avoid talking to? :rotfl:
also, is it better to do all the windows at once, or just to do the rooms as we're doing them up individually?

if you have a local builder ready, then ask him for a price to supply and fit and a price for fit only.
then you can price the products yourself, and get the best price.
wickes for example, have cheap windows but only limited sizes in stock. they will do any size to order though.Get some gorm.0 -
