I have been doing a full loft conversion and i've done all the insulation and put in 3 lovelly veluxes. The room is high and lofty with lots of light.
I now want to get some flooring put in, but I have 20 sq mt of space roughly so I think putting in full wood will blow my budget. I've heard a lot about laminates but both good and bad things and I really have no idea at all about them.
Can someone suggest a good site to buy Cheap full wood or laminates from and really whether getting laminate will not last as long as full wood? Whatever wood or laminate I get I want it to be light and possibly even that slightly grey / white wood colour I sometimes see. Any suggestions on good sites would be great

At the Ideal Home Exhibition I saw a display of Quickstep laminate which I thought was far nicer than the engineered wood floor it was laid up against. It also seems to be very hard wearing and durable.
I think the colour you are talking about is lime washed0 -
Use normal T&G floorboards and finish yourself, very cheap and you get the finish you want0
