I don't have my account number to send a SAR

Hi all, I am brand new to this site, so apologies if this has been covered before.

I want to see if I'm entitled to claim for PPI, so I have done a credit check on myself, and I have the details of the lenders I have borrowed from in the last six years, but I don not have th account numbers. I have looked that the template letters on the MSE site, and they all seem to have a space for the account numbers to go into, even for a Request for Information or SAR.

Can anyone advise exactly how to get the account numbers for my previous agreements so that I can start the process? (I have not kept my old paperwork).

Thank you

In the first instance why not just ask your lenders directly what (if any) PPI you have had?
  • Thanks, I'll try that. Just thinking they might say they want my account numbers to check...but worth a try I guess!
