Husband home for R&R soon and I have no idea what to do

Well I have no experience in husband working away apart from when we were together in the early days but I think your plan sounds great - a few days just the two of you will be much needed and enjoyed especially as you've missed him so much and then a lovely holiday with the kids, just what you will all need!!

Hoping not to offend anyone but all the negative posts made me feel bad for the OP and I think there is very good logic and reasoning in the decision making process based on the opinions and advice of several other husbands and wives in the same situation.
