Benenden Healthcare -allowances

Options
I have been to see a psychitrist, and he suggested therapy, so he referred me to a psycholigist (private) Beneden only allow 300 for therapy, and I am left with only two talks with her, and I need the therapy to get back to work.
I am now stuck between the private sector and the NHS, and am now on a waiting list for 8 months, or weeks.

Why do they only allow 300 for therapy, whenever they can see what one session costs in the private sector?

Any advice?

You are angry because the policy (that costs you about a fiver a month) which clearly states you have £300 towards these costs will not pay out any more???

    Really?

If your that angry, cancel the policy and save the masses of pennies and use it elsewhere - like a REAL medical insurance policy...

Do you realise how much Benenden offer for so little??

Do you take clothes back to charity shops and ask for your money back?

So there is enough to go round all the members?

Advice - wait 8 months for NHS and leave Benenden for those of us who appreciate what it does for us

or pay the private therapist out of your own pocket, if it will save you your job it oculd be a spend-to-save

I even saw one consultant who when he realised I was a Benenden client, told his staff to forget to bill them

I am so sorry to have offended anyone, but the fact is that therapy costs a lot more than that. I have used Benenden for years, and have not used it very often, and they are brilliant. But I have no money, owing to being sick, so do you not think that I should be made homeless, due to the waiting list..... I only pointed the fact out, that even pet insurance have noticed that vet prices have went up. It is not my fault that I fell ill, and cannot get treatment.

And Wutang, it costs me more than £5.00 a month.
