do sim only deals improve your credit score?

I am thinking of getting the £15 pm 'sim only' deal on the '3' network, I'd just like to know if it can lmprove your credit score?

They certainly appear on your credit report. So paying them on time etc will only help. However since "credit scores" are a made up entity and are not visible to lenders, its a moot point.0

Conversely, they can also wreck your file too if you roam or lose it then don't pay he bill.0

Not exactly true, the score the agency gives you is generally only visible to them (they used to offer it to smaller credit providers but most wanted their own, assume that still applies) but other credit companies will have a "credit score" its just one generated using their rules and weightings and not the agencies.
In theory it should show but I have an O2 and Vodaphone contract and only the O2 one shows on my records.0
