Well, in many, many cases that is just not going to happen because some arrears are so huge that it will be impossible, so I'm afraid that they are still lying to you!!!!!!!!

I know. I have said they could have £25 a month. Which is what they said back in December.

The thing is they must think I am stupid. It costs for them to take us to court and to get a charging order on the house. Almost as much as he owes. And what gets me he has always played the game and paid.

I am awaiting a phone call back tomorrow.

I told them his DLA is to pay for extras because my husband is disabled.

My husband was in rather state when I got home yesterday. Because of all this. He almost died last year and all they seem to care is getting £40 a month of him.

I am tempted to get copies of all his sick notes and send them off as well as getting a letter from his consultant at the hospital to give time frames and tell them that he is recovering and does not need the stress of all of this.

Just to get them off his back. And there are NRP's who never pay a penny and they get away with it. ooh such a fair system me thinks.

I better stop as it just makes me

I would do what you said - via your MP. They can negotiate with you, the debt isn't that big either, so there is no reason why they can't - only targets.
