Previous tenants of house I am moving to using npower, can I still use quidco?

Hi there, I'm moving in with my girlfriend (eek!) to a 2 bedroom house in Norwich on the 21st of August. The previous tenants of the property used npower for both gas and electric and the landlord would prefer me to stay (although open to me using something else) as she has found it to be cheapest in my area, and with a quick search it seems correct. Npower offer cashback for all people who switch to them via Quidco, I was wondering whether I would be eligible for this as I would be a new customer (currently living with parents), but it would not really be a 'new' house for them?

Thanks

If the supply is already with Npower you will not get cashback. Make sure you call them and give meter readings. If you decide to move suppliers after that you can use the cashback site.

If you are planning to rent that place for not a full number of years, npower may be more expensive as it gives you £100 off every 12 months (probably starting from 1 month after you move in as it takes a while to set your account up)

Whilst it may take a while for set up, the start date will be the date of occupation as opposed to when they do it hence the anniversary date will set based on it. Otherwise the landlord would be stung on any standing charges, if they exist on the tariff.

It's none of the landlord's concern which utility suppliers you choose to use-your account, your bill.
