Currently Ill, on ESA and want to know about working
GlobalSquare
Backround - diagnosed with phycosis and ocd
I was on long term incapacity benifit (unfit to work for a decade)
Recently moved to ESA where found fit to work
Appealed and found out a few weeks ago i would be get ESA.
- truely that is the right decision aswell as there is no way i am in any kind of real state to hold down a job even casually.
Ive always wanted to get back to work but due to my problems i really dont do people which makes working for someone sort of hard (to say i dont do people is a bit of an understatement, i have issues with people and the noise they make and its a damn noisey world lol).
Thats meant trying to think up my own business which i have now have.
Can anyone inform or link me to relevent pages regarding going back to work.
Theres no way i could survive with out my ESA money but the business idea will take probably year to build up (think similar to window cleaner bunisess).
Also should it fail i take it i will have to go through the whole claims process to get back on to ESA or would i then have to go on to job seekers.
The above said any ideas where i should go in person to ask these questions?
In advance THANK YOU!

are you thinking of doing permitted work sounds like this would be suitable.
You can be classed as self employed as well.
As long as ESA agree with the work then you can start, you can build the buisness slowly, they will ask to see accounts every three months to check how much you are making.
They only have to be simple accounts so dont worry.
and good luck

In the work-related group, you can only earn 20 pounds a week forever, or 95 pounds a week for one year.
After one year, you can only earn the 20 pound limit for a year, and then it repeats.0
