Bedford CF accelerator cable

A friend of mine needs an Accelerator cable for a 1984 Bedford CF.I have tried Ebay on a saved search and some Bedford spares people from a forum website.Also I have spoken to Speedy cables who can make one ,but he my friend does not want to remove his one from his working van at the moment.Of course scrap yards are another option but he would prefer a new one.I wonder if I should try the LBC Radio phone in?Any help always appreciated
