    :hello:
Well i still got no money again today, phoned up the work, and was informed that they have withheld the money because i didnt give them back a tub of antibacterial wash, which supposedly cost £30
I told the manager that it had smashed and i didn't have it anymore so she proceeded to mutter, 'well i'll sort your money out' and then put the phone down on me.
I didnt even get chance to ask when i'd be getting the money.
I phoned straight back and there was no answer to her line so i got diverted to the receptionist who informed me that the manager was now on the phone.
So i asked for the head office phone number which she refused to give me, she said she was going to get the head of care to call me which i'm not holding my breath out for as they NEVER call you back.
I'm so angry, i have a child to support and they are just being petty it's rediculous.
The thing is i took the stuff back last tuesday, they checked the bag there and then and waited for me to contact them to ask for the poxy gel back, they have not contacted me once to ask for anything back then wanna put the phone down when i phone up quering where my money is.

Are they jokers this place? There was no talk of handwash before, but a uniform, what will it be next, no momey, until you give the ink back out of our pen?

I am sorry you are having these problems. It sounds like they don't want to pay you for some reason.

What about going to their office in person and then they can not "overlook" the matter?

Chin up and stay chilled as getting mad does you no favours as much as it naturally is annoying, especially when they avoid you.

This is why I would not touch private home care agencies with a barge pole - all they are bothered about it seems is profit margins.

well i went to CAB and they have advised me to write a letter stating they have made an unauthorised deduction of my wages, i then have t give them 'reasonable time' to respond, the cab man said a judge would usually say 28 days is 'resonable time'
I dont know wether to write it now or wait until next monday and see if it gets paid, i dont want them to stop it because of the letter.
But saying that i actually got the head office number from their website so i'm gonna give them a call tommorrow and see how i get on with them.
Oh and the head of care (main manager) didnt call me back, surprise surprise!

Go down the phone route first, but don't spend too much on phone calls or it will write off what they will pay you in the end.

I'd make sure that you put it all in writing and either hand deliver it or send by recorded post. Less likely to fob you off with a letter.

Another update - the final one!
I spoke to the head office and explained the situation and said i'd been to CAB, she said she'll see what she can do and get back to me, she phoned me today and told me that i'll be getting my money definately on tuesday as she processed the payment herself, i also had a voicemail from one of the women in the other office aswell so thankfully it's all sorted!
