I was hit by a lorry last night - what should I do next?

Contact the Highways to see fi there is any CCTV footage from the motorway cameras..
Contact your insurance company to let them know but dont claim. You need to claim FROM the lorry's insurance.
I'd go to the GP anyway to get it logged that you were involved in an accident, even if you have no pain at the minute.
Lorry will have a tacho so that will be looked at to see if he was on the throttle or brakes at the time of impact too.0 -

you can elect any repairer you wish maindealer repairer if you choose, the lorry drivers insurance company cannot deny you this especialy is liabity admitted.If you're fully comp they will arrange the collection of your car. Alternatively, if you go through certain claims management companies, they can arrange for this to be done (they will have certain t&cs that you'll have to meet)
Yes – your insurers will specify a repairer to whom the car should be taken. If you go through certain accident management companies, they will allow you to elect the repairer of your choice.
