Anyone think a site that helps you find compatible friends should exist?

Bit of a random post but me and OH were talking about this last night.....
Both of us met on match.com and not to be rude to him but he doesn't have many friends, only a few that he doesn't see very often and recently my seeing friends has plummeted too as one of my close friends lives in London and is off to Canada in 2 months for a year, another has moved to Israel and the only 2 close friends I have here are glued to each others side at the moment *so this is a bit of a vent too lol*.
I know its hard to keep/make friends as people get older/move on in their lifes but I get the feeling that I am being left out of stuff because they feel I don't make enough effort but they dont either.
I have been living with OH for 2 years now and my 2 "close" friends have never been round to see me at my house as its "too far" but they expect me to go to theres! One doesn't drive so I don't mind too much but the other one (who is more of the one I have an issue with over this) does.
I could make myself sound really jealous but tbh I am not, I understand people move on but there is a slight "oddness" to my other 2 friends seeing each other nearly every day along with friend 1's fiance in tow at all times!
Friend 2 broke up with her husband in Jan and this has been going on since.
So to be blunt about it, I need new friends and need a way of making them!
