Amazon - Multiple purchase discounts?

Bought several DVD's the other day from 'Zoverstocks', an Amazon seller, but as I'd bought over several days and paid straight away I didn't notice they wee all the same seller - IYSWIM
Anyhoo - just received a email stating they been dispatched and have been bundled together as one package.
My question is that I've paid a (I believe) set price for postage - (£1.27 x 4) Per DVD yet they've obviously saved a good few pennies by sending as one item. Is this allowed/acceptable?
If it was eBay I'd email the seller suggesting they send together and fully expecting a postal discount :rotfl:
Is Amazon different? Don't buy a great deal from them but they had the DVD's I wanted in stock!
TIA Peeps!

Some sellers can set multiple postage discounts (I know that my works account does) but Zoverstocks (Music Magpie) don't."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

On Amazon it is not the done thing to expect discounts from marketplace sellers, in fact giving you a discount would show as a fault on their seller metrics.
The amazon marketplace prices should be seen as though the price was inclusive of the postage charged- as that is how the sellers set their prices.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks both for clarifying

Not too fussed, was happy with the overall costs but presumed as they were separate orders, paid for separately they'd be sent individually so a bulk posting made me query it!0 -
Whenever I buy lots from Zoverstocks they send them all individually anyway so surprised to see they bundled them...let us know if they do actually come as a bundle and its not just them charging you onceDon't trust a forum for advice. I've usually had separate packages from the same seller when buying from the bulk sellers on Amazon. As Soo says though, many items are set with the price assumed to be inclusive, and the fee system is very different from eBay as well, as fees are payable on the postage credit as well as the item itself."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4
