Avios - Surcharge to Europe?

Hi All

I am trying to redeem Avios points, accumulated through CC offers and Tesco Clubcard points, to book flights to Prague.

The only issue is it is charging me hundreds for taxes and fees. Is there something I ought to be doing to get the £27 reward saver option?

    Are they BA operated flights or codeshares? Reward saver only applies to BA and IB European flights.

    Have you actually transferred the Clubcard vouchers over yet? The £27 fare won't show unless you've earnt avios on that account in the last year.

    just wondered if you got this sorted out as I am having the same problem! so annoying.

    Have you earnt at least one avios on the specific account you are trying to book on in the last 12 months???

    And Avios.com and BA Executive club are completely separate (are you confusing them? Earn an Avios on Avios.com and you can redeem the Reward Flight Saver only on Avios.com - not BA.com - and vice versa.
